Re: Australian visit.
I was dismayed to learn of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s plan to no longer have Her Majesty the Queen as head of state of Australia for much longer, but I am of the belief his term of office will end long before Her Majesty’s reign!
I am further concerned for the welfare of certain parts of Australian society, namely those who are forced to endure the torment and trauma of the Family Court System, CSA and Social Services.
Your Highness may not be aware that those who took their own lives because of such indignity totalled 8964 people just before Christmas 2009, this figure rose to 9252 by the first week of the New Year! When Your Highness considers the immediate and extended family of each individual, this represents a large proportion of the Australian population from this single statistic.
I am aware that the Royal Family is unable to intervene in matters political with in a Commonwealth Country, but I would appeal to Your Highness to pass these concerns on to an appropriate diplomat on the occasion of Your Highness’s forthcoming visit to Australia.
