Impressive arn't they?
I don't usually vere off into what I call Guido Fawkes territory, but so incensed was I when I read the latest bulletin from Tory H.Q. (Click on title for headline I refer to) The family friendly party as we are lead to believe, but as a life long Tory supporter I find my self asking at this time of apathetic politics we've endured for the past 20+ years, where is our 'Churchill' figure to lead us out of this malaise and into a future of hope? Even Nigel Farage seems to have forsaken us when his You Tubes offered most British citizens what we want and a viable alternative then a wasted vote to the BNP!
Straw, Balls,(Yeah they both have them!) Cooper, Harman, Mandelson and Smith tinkered round the edges, but as has been demonstrated all too often, self interest comes before strong policy digestible by the electorate and are we able to expect much better from the Tory's or what Peter Hichens of The Daily Mail call the 'whats the point party?' (Excellent Campaigners John Hemming M.P. and Lynne Featherstone M.P. are wasted here!)
So here is my message to Cameron and any other of life's imposters that want to step up to the plate;
Cameron is welcome at my door any day, I will offer him a cup of tea sit him down and explain it to him in mono syllable terms;
You can't expect a bloke to go to court spend £32,000 just to have modest contact with his own children establish a further family home just yards from the former one so as to be close by and accessible to his children who attend the schools that lay between the two homes. All this on a truck drivers wage, then when a perfectly sound contact order is reached allow that ex partner to unravel the entire thing on legal aid whilst the hard working dad has to pay through the nose, £200 per hour for a lawyer and £2000 per court visit, then wonder why the poor bastard has not only gone bankrupt but is diagnosed clinically depressed in the process he then learns in the same weekend that his former partners new partner can take possession of the former home at a pepper corn rate ie: I thought it was worth £200,000 he got it for £34,000 the same unknown guy has regular uncontested contact with my children with out spending 30 seconds in a Family Court room or spending one penny to attain it!
I have had my children withheld now since 19th September 2007 and just 'celebrated' my 3rd Christmas with out them! In the same weekend as the letter informed me that they could take possession of my former home, my mortgage company started proceedings to repossess my existing home, thankfully my pension matured just in time to save this but for how long? I have not worked for nearly a year and had I tried to a year ago I would never have attained enough to pay my over inflated mortgage, there may be hope now as this has now reduced considerably and now my ex who has not worked but claimed since 1996 and her partner who works and claims swans around in modern cars has holidays each year whilst trying to get me arrested for handing my son a Post office book and maturing bond (£2000 each) I was told by police not to harass my son on his way home from school (Wish someone would harass me with £2000 as I travel on rare occasions in my 16 year old Honda) and they still expect me to pay CSA when they are a damn sight better off then I am!!
So no Mr Cameron I do not feel guilty after working hard for the past 35 years to claim what amounts to be £40 per week after several other deductions and which I have to exist on, this sometimes means going the odd days with out eating it has meant wearing layers of cloths and overcoat in doors this winter and often just getting to sign on, on the fumes in the petrol tank then being asked to wait outside as the queue is too long and is made up of East European and Travellers who I bet will be immune from any chastisement from Cameron!!
Perhaps Cameron should consider this;
In stead of worrying about deadbeat Dads why not consider the ones that are thrown away by the state and ruined for life?
In case you get confused (person/policy) Cameron is the one with the hat on!
