Her Majesty the Queen's Christmas message spoke of Commonwealth, Multi-Faith and Children. To this end I would there fore feel t incumbent on all of us to keep her informed on the failure that is Family Law, CSA social services and child Welfare in the commonwealth and beyond. In my experience Her Majesty has shown great empathy with our cause and i would address letters to her office asking then to be forwarded directly to Prime ministers Rudd, Harper, Keys, President Jacob Zumo and presumably Cameron here in the UK by the summer.Whilst Her Majesty has no jurisdiction in the US there seemed to be a warmth and mutual regards for the Obama's and Windsors during last years G20 summit (Whilst our lame-duck PM appeared to be sidelined somewhat!) so maybe a comment could be passed from Buckingham Palace to the First Lady.

In the week that saw Gordon Brown apologise to the elderly people who were dismissed to Australia in the 40' and 50's to a life of drudge and abuse, something Kevin Rudd also did recently coming hot on the heels of Howard's apology for the dislocated indigenous Aborigines during a similar period we learn that the young still rate low on the concern level for the Australian administration.
We also learn that that fateful number of 10,000 will shortly be reached relating to the number of Australia citizen's that have taken their lives due to the trauma of Family Law courts, CSA and social service intervention on their lives and the pressures have become to much, remembering this number was only been counted since prime minister Rudd came to office in November 2007, you also have to consider the immediate family to each of those 10,000 then the extended family friends and colleagues then you begin to realise how many of the countries population has been affected by this single statistic. What can the good people of this land got to expect, maybe an apology in 25 or 30 years time?
Australian Child Support Agency death toll since
Kevin Rudd became Prime Minister: 9900 clients!!
I have often referred to Family Law in Canada as the worst in the world yet once again the administration under the leadership of prime Minister Stephen Harper seems to be impervious to the fact you can be sure , though not published, that similar lives are lost as in Australia probably similar in the UK and in the USA it runs into hundreds of thousands and all these so called allies have troops fighting in the worlds hell holes and often returning service personnel then facing the added trauma at Family Court is compounding suicide statistics still further.
If you have the opportunity take a look at Bob Berman's Ontario divorce.com as he has come up with some answers his PM should adopt and also Dr. Robert A. Kenedy of York University Toronto rkenedy@yorku.ca is completing his research into Family Law from around the world and I am sure would value your contribution, a real gentlemen as I learned when I met up with the Professor last year. We need to Lobby PM Stephen Harper v and Her Majesty before Her state visit this coming June!
John Keys is the new kid on the block as rather like Cameron needs to be up to date with his countries plight on Family law so he can hit the ground running as will Cameron this summer. New Zealand: family Law in the 21st century (book title) sadly is no better here then elsewhere and I have seen footage of protests dating back 25 years by disgruntled fathers and family members, there is even a fledgling F4J NZ and it occurs to me how wonderful it would be if we could get Prime Minister Key to act before they had to establish and who knows this small country could be the inspiration for the rest of the world as I believe this issue will only be solved on a global scale!
http://menz.org.nz/ and here is a sad entitlement of this country; http://www.fathers4justice.org.nz/ can nobody escape the scourge of family law court failings?
Here in Great Britain we have endured the worst Government in living memory with an unelected leader and former chancellor who's apprenticeship should have given him an insight into the financial crisis us mere mortals are having to face and this most fundamental of failures will be rewarded as a future European financial minister or CEO of the IMF (I did not buy that old pony he gave Piers Morgan last week that he wanted to do charity work, bit like saying Blair just tells fibs!).
The trouble is we also have a Lilly-livered opposition who has missed opportunity after opportunity to call this Government to account so we now face a Tory Government (we already have 99% arrogant Tory councils) under the leadership of David Cameron (I know) at a time this country is crying out for some Churchillian leader as UKIP and BNP recognised during the local/EU elections last year!
Well there is a major protest touring Oxford on April 10th with a number of bus loads of alienated fathers touring a round the Tory leaders constituency culminating at David Cameron's home! For those unable to attend in Oxford it is incumbent to Lobby our future leader before he disappears for his 12 week holiday in the summer and as well as directing your concerns to the leader you can also write via your local MP, councillors and London Assembly member thus; http://www.writetothem.com/
I have been inspired by the works of F4J in South Africa and the fact they have advised their government on human rights issues in spite of having their website hacked into so is the politic of this part of the world ,but whilst they still have problems to resolve lets hope some of this tentative inspiration will spread!
Johannesburg, South Africa (CNN) -- South Africa's president has apologized for fathering a child out of wedlock after his admission prompted an outcry from critics who said he was undermining the nation's health campaign."I deeply regret the pain that I have caused to my family, the ANC, the Alliance and South Africans in general," President Jacob Zuma said in a statement Saturday. "The matter, though private, has ... put a lot of pressure on my family and my organization, the African National Congress." Zuma is a member of the Zulu culture, which practices polygamy. He has three wives and 19 children, according to his Web site. http://www.daveyonefamilylawmanblogspotcom.socialgo.com/forum/topic/12
President 'new hope' Obama seems preoccupied in trying to resolve the US economy crisis whilst still dabbling in foreign affairs (does Cuba really pose a threat these days?) therefore maybe it is the First Lady who should be Lobbied on matters of Family Law and associated agencies! Last week Michelle Obama invited 12 London school kids to the Whitehouse as well as having her own campaign for improving the lot for impoverished children throughout the inner cities of the USA. Therefore in the same way as I have suggested we Lobby the Queen we should do like wise with the First Lady or are they all the hypocrites we are led to believe? http://www.whitehouse.gov/contactThis campaign will only work with numbers and full mail sacks at Buckingham palace and full inbox's for the rest this is the year these appalling law are reformed and whilst Australia is concerned with eroding coastlines everyone should be made aware that a tsunami is going on right in the heart of our societies and even if this campaign meet with success this year could take a generation to see the results !
I wonder who above will be the first to grasp the nettle?

Research request - Belfast and Glasgow supporters!
I was delighted to meet with Dr. Robert A. Kenedy last year and spend an enjoyable and informative afternoon discussing the impact Family law had on my life and would encourage others to contribute to his good works! Davey.
I am completing research and writing a book about the Fathers' Rights/Parenting Movement in Canada and the UK and would like to do focus groups and individual interviews with activists and others. I will be in be making my final trip soon and will be in Glasgow from Feb 12-14th and Belfast from Feb 15-17th 2010
If you are interested in being part of the book and sharing your views on the Family Law system, the Fathers’ Rights/Parenting Movement, and related issue, that would be very helpful. I am interested in interviewing fathers, mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, and others who have been impacted by the Family Law System. All interviews will be confidential and those being interviewed will remain anonymous in any written material.

The Personal Support Unit (PSU) will be the subject of the weekly Radio 4 Appeal on Sunday 18th January 2009 at 7.55am, when Lord Woolf will speak in support of the appeal.
This appeal was broadcast the same weekend that the BBC refused to broadcast an appeal for Food, water and urgent medical supplies fro the people of Gaza, the BBC refused as they did not want to be seen as imartial, yet they were not shourt of thses supplies across the border! Davey
The Personal Support Unit is an independent charity, based in the main building at the Royal Courts of Justice in Strand, London.
The Courts can be a daunting and intimidating place for those involved in legal proceedings. For those who do not have legal representation the difficulties are made worse. The PSU provides non-legal advice, help, information and support to litigants in person and to any member of the public attending at the Royal Courts of Justice who may need help or assistance.
The Right Honourable the Attorney General, Baroness Scotland QC says: "I have seen the Personal Support Unit at work and am very impressed by its professionalism and the way in which it meets a significant need. The volunteers at the Unit provide valuable support to litigants who are unrepresented and often unfamiliar with the court processes.
The support offered is very diverse and might range from accompanying the litigants into court, to speaking to court staff and judges' clerks on their behalf and even to providing quiet and safe areas for them to sit in before and after court appearances. I know that the Unit works hard within a very limited budget and both needs and deserves financial support."
The Right Honourable the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Judge also has praise for the PSU:
"The volunteers from the PSU, (Personal Support Unit), provide emotional and practical support to unrepresented litigants. Based in the Royal Courts, but also with offices in the Principal Registry of the Family Division, Wandsworth County Court and now firmly established in Manchester's Civil Justice Centre, this remarkable charity will grow and develop.
For people on their own in the civil and family courts, often vulnerable and with special needs, the presence of a calm and friendly volunteer ensures that their case is better presented so all those who participate are more effective. I know that the organisation runs on a shoestring and needs support.
ILEX members can give that support to the PSU through donations. They can donate on line at www.thepsu.co.uk/donate or write to: Radio 4 Appeal, PSU, Room M104, Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London WC2A 2LL

Grandparents could hold the key to Family Law reform in the UK!
I received a bulletin this week from the journal Mature Times; http://www.maturetimes.co.uk/node/9854 and read with interest. I then past it on to my associate and 'Grandparents Apart' campaigner the pragmatic Jimmy Deuchars who's robust response was in keeping with this gentleman's stance on this subject much of which I have had to contain within my Grandparents 4 Justice forum and I would welcome other peoples views on Jimmy's findings.
For some time I have believed Jimmy's campaign holds the key to any break through on the Family Law crisis undermining societies here in Britain and sadly across the world . the USA, Australia, Canada and New Zealand are facing similar difficulties and have counterparts to Jimmy's organisations too. I can only hope and pray those who should be remedying this failure might just listen to these 'bastions of commonsense and stability' if they listen to anyone!
Renowned presenter Gloria Hunniford has been doing the rounds on many popular TV and Radio shows on this subject, and I wish Joanna Lumley would step up to the plate on this as she did for the Gurkha's as this really is the solution to not only the injustices in family court but the continuing failures in social services that threaten our societies more then any terror attack!

CSA to disband!
http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2010/feb/07/child-maintenance-houses-
In a shock announcement DWP Minister Yvette Mrs.Ed Balls Cooper has announced that the CSA now known as the Child Maintenance Enforcement Commission (Wolf in sheep's clothing) will close in an attempt to win over disgruntled voters and save her beleaguered leader from the embarrassment of losing the next election. In an exclusive article to the Daily Planet (wonder which one they are on) Ms.Cooper said no more over the breakfast conversations with husband Ed about how many peoples lives they can screw up today and the realisation that it would be cheaper to make all the disfunctional civil servants redundant at the DWP,then purse these pointless claims, some of whom are quite content to see Fathers who have paid and paid pushed to suicide with the explanation that's OK we will take it from his estate how ever much is likely to be left after his entire trauma through the Family Court process, the DWP of course distances themselves from the Ministry of Justice saying they are nothing to do with us, yet they all want their pound of flesh from one bloke on one wage trying to pay for 2 homes and eat to keep healthy himself. http://www.publicservice.co.uk/news_story.asp?id=12246
They have also realised at the DWP they have exhausted all those whom they know the address to but fail to purse the runaway or feckless dads. They also realise that they are just another weapon in the armory that a vengeful ex can add to PAS, false claims of domestic violence and child abuse to a previously normal caring father and that this type of mother will claim all they can from the state with impunity yet still crucify the dad . On the other hand genuine mothers who do not take the rise out of the system receive little support, and are prepared to go to work in order to support their children in spite of being a single parent and in all cases those who miss out the most especially the support from a loving dad is the children!!
Now there is no way anyone in this lame duck government will put their hands up and admit this to be the case including Mrs. Balls and worryingly it looks like any future government will take a similar stance so I declare this day, 24th Feb 2010, is the start of the campaign to get the CSA ( CMEC) disbanded as the waste of money resources and LIVES it has become!
I have started by complaining to the ASA about the false statements made in the current CMEC advert on TV and why should the government be wasting our money on inaccurate public information and if you wish to make a similar complaint go to and as with all other agencies involved in this sordid injustice, I would boycott them as I would solicitors, courts and anyone else that wants to take money from you under false pretences.

Teenagers : Rave or Rage?
Giving voice to those most affected by separating parents.
I often wonder where Teenagers today are coming from, no sense of the future and having no fear of the consequences of actions they take today on their adult life!
Actually that is a typical teenager attitude since time immemorial but today things seem so heightened by media and peer pressure and a culture by the authorities keep telling everyone what they should not be doing instead of wondering why they do it and is there an intrinsic reason why here in the UK we have the highest rate of teenage pregnancies,a normalised culture of drug use and alcohol intake that exceeds a comparable age group even in France!
At a time in their life when they should concentrate on getting the best education they can and not be dismayed if they are not the most academic in the block as they should be getting support to make the most of their abilities in sport, arts or vocational attributes. All else should be secondary as in my view this is money in the bank for the future and whilst when you are 14 being 21 seems ages away in fact it is not and every effort should be made to guide people into that fact.
I wrote in a recent education blog, shortly to be transferred to my new magazine,in the last year of primary school there should be a time designated to preparation for what is to come in secondary school including the usual sex, drugs and rock and roll stuff along with social skills which would help them from day one on that fateful September day. There is life beyond Facebook, texting, I-Box and clubbing. If you fall off a tree or your bike this makes you better at those activities and the same rule could apply to many other things in life and above all give the young today a little more self esteem so often lacking when they realise they do not look like their favorite pop star or football player.

I have included a few pictures of who I would consider good role models today if I were a teenager or would wish my own children to emulate, besides the afore mentioned pop or soccer stars, but I was hard pressed to consider a good female contender.
I was however interested in America's First Lady Michelle Obama who invited 12 London students to the Whitehouse last week and seems to have a genuine interest in the young today so maybe it is her we need to bring up to date with how separation and alienation is affecting so many young people today and their futures are being thwarted before they have begun!

Liberal Democrats : What is the point? Please disband!
In that fabled edition of BBC Question Time - Impartial or working for the Labour party ? (You Tube) where we saw Harriet 'Rear of the Year' Harman insist David 'Quiver hand' Dimbleby shuts Ian Duncan-Smith up about family separation and Javis Cocker reflect on his moonie at Micheal Jackson's Brit appearance the week the great star died and some unnamed Liberal Democrat member inform Peter Hichens, of all people (Robust Sunday Mail Journalist), that he should vote for them , the curt reply was "Whats the point?"
I have always shared that view of the 'Whats the Point Party' who have not had a significant influence in Parliament for almost 100 years and my earliest recollections were of Jeremy Thorpe as leader, and even as a teenager I could not for see him representing Britain on the world stage anymore then the current incumbent.
Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats takes questions in Watford on the 25th February 2010 for the latest of his public meetings.Find full details of this and future public meetings http://libdems.org.uk/home.aspx
This is a shame as there is some lost talent that should fill the void created by the mass resignation of M.Ps at the forthcoming election and I would call on the Party to disband and allow their members to pin their allegiances to either main party they would have been happy being 'hung' to and perhaps we will see a more defined politic in this country missing for so long as all three parties vying for the same middle ground and being swayed by tabloid opinion rather the showing strong clear leadership. We need latter day Hestletines and Tebbits and more Dennis Skinners who between them tell you where they stand politically in their first sentence and often with more commonsense then Parliament could handle thus far.
Vince Cable, Shadow Chancellor & Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats will answer any question on economic policy in an online session on the 25th February. Submit your questions from today online and vote for your favourite for Vince to answer.
There are some rare talents in the party Menzies Campbell was the wise old sage and I believe Vince Cable who seems to command respect for his wisdom across the floor may prove to be the best Chancellor we never had a chance of getting as the Lib-Dem's right back to the David Owen, Shirley Williams Bill Rogers and Roy Jenkins era have been the only party relying on proportional representation to have any chance of success, funny even Brown has muted something about PR now he find the chips are down.
Whilst I always regarded Lord Paddy Ashdown as a bit of a lose cannon two Lib-Dem's who do emerge as front runners for a Ministerial role in government are;
John Hemming MP for Yardley Birmingham in the West Midlands and as an advocate for all things Family Law finds his constituency is renowned for having the worst social services in the UK ( My findings suggest it is in fact endemic throughout the land from Cornwall to Hull from Eastbourne to Glasgow) So who better to be in charge of CSF following the loss of Ed Balls later this year? Balls in my opinion has never been Minister enough even if the department was separated up into it's 3 consistence of Children, Schools and Families and needed a lot more then £800k being thrown at each council to recruit more social workers when what is needed is better ones!
Lynne Featherstone MP for the equally criticised borough of Haringay where the loss of Baby Peter to abusive guardians occurred in the wake of the Victoria Climbe enquiry just a few years previously again giving this council the dubious accolade of being the worst in London, but as I say this is endemic across the land and across Boris Johnson's constituency! Here too I believe Ms.Featherstone would be a worthy contender as DWP minister replacing Yvette 'Mrs Balls' Cooper so at least there would be no more over the breakfast conversations of " Who's life shall we screw up today?" and maybe we will get the long overdue reform in both departments we so desperately need!
