In recent years we learn, though it has no bearing on my 45 year old memories, that GEORGE TAKEI is Gay and is in fact married to another man. We have learned to accept the concept of Gay and same sex relationships in the same time span of 45 years and I accept the so called civil partnership contracts where such couples benefit from the same rules relating to wills property and benefits that those traditional married couples have accepted as the norm for many years!
Where I did cough however was this week learning that Mr. GEORGE TAKEI and his "Husband " are to appear on next weekends Mr&Mrs show hosted by Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield. Mr&Mrs has now become Mr&Mr!
The accepted norm, or as the PC brigade will have us believe, is not extended to Fathers who once they separate from a partners their rights leave at the same time a court decides to exclude him in spite of the fact he has done nothing wrong other then to part from a partner and no matter how much he wants to remain responsible for financial matters and have a role in his children's upbringing the court will still exclude him so the public perception is it is he who has runaway (even being tagged as absent parent even if he now lives just 1/2 a mile down the road) and should the mother exercise her ability at Parental Alienation this too seems to be condoned by the same erroneous judges right up to Lord Justice Ward who's privileged lifestyle seems to prevent him making this fundamental breach of court orders and child abuse illegal!
The system is content to send such fathers bankrupt just in his attempt to have modest contact with his own children culminating in the former home, which would have been the net result of his life's work to date, being handed to his ex partner and her new partner on a platter and that same unknown 'new partner' having regular uninterrupted contact with his children without spending 30 seconds or one penny in Family Law court!
"Davey has seen some dark moments like this, Is this now the accepted norm for fathers?"
