What French Truckers could teach Family Law activists!

As someone who has been employed in the British road haulage industry for the past 35 years I had to look on in awe when the French were not satisfied with what their Government had to offer and with immediate effect the shutters were drawn down on the country. To be more precise the borders would be sealed the Farmers would blockade roads with their equipment, no commercial vehicle wheel would roll and if they really pulled it off the airport workers would go on strike too!
Here in the UK we have had a few whoop and grunt convoys when the fuel prices got out of hand, but when everyone packed up and went home nothing had changed and we still pay through the nose for fuel and in turn for everything delivered to the superstores. Curiously our fuel is always that little bit more then our fellow European members putting us at a disadvantage before a single ignition key was turned and can you imagine us blockading the borders we would be deemed uncompetitive and non European ( I put my hand up to that last comment) and don’t forget when the ports are blockaded that is not France coming to a halt but the whole of Europe and when you hear of ‘Operation Stack’ where the police ‘park’ coast bound trucks on the M20 in Kent destined for Dover and Folkestone there are trucks from all over waiting to cross including those from Scotland and Ireland who have already travelled from Stranraer and Holyhead and beyond first!

In much the same way we in the Family Law reform Campaign are doing the very same thing we all support and promote our individual causes we all have our blogs and individual area’s of interest but as a campaign for change we are all whistling in the wind ( or peeing in the ocean). I propose, as it was always my intention, to advocate my website as a ‘HUB’ for all our causes around the world as this is only going to be won on a global scale. Why should Obama ( Mr. or Mrs.) do anything if Kevin Rudd does not improve Australia’s lot, Why should Stephen Harper change Canada’s laws if the out going Brown and in coming Cameron do not match the law to our supreme court? So put your date on the calendar and we all promote that cause so that everyone who can will attend such as Oxford England on the 10th to 12th April 2010 those who cannot attend or live abroad should then lobby politicians something you can do very effectively from your PC write to the media. Murdoch’s empire seems ripe for taking our message around the world as is talking on a local radio stations we need to keep the pressure up then when it is the turn of the Family Preservation Festival in Washington DC July 23rd to 25th 2010 we should reciprocate again campaigning in support of those attending as well as the similar festivals happening from state to state and at the same time there is nothing stopping those of us in Melbourne , Singapore, Greece, Germany, Portugal, Wellington, Johannesburg, Ontario or London campaigning for the cause of the day or weekend and so on and unlike the Facebook causes they will be a purpose and a result when we all focus our attentions in the same direction and unlike Facebook we won’t head down a dead end and there will not be a charge we can however pool our resources for a more focused campaign ;

World4Justice : 2010 Lobby Forum
So come aboard the ‘ferry of change’ and let’s make World4Justice year : 2010 our year and get our individual messages across to the decision makers and law changers with the force of all or lobbying in support! Come on let’s get it together and make them listen!!

You’ve been framed, child abuse?

I am a fan of Harry Hill but have long had misgivings of ‘You’ve been framed’ even when it was introduced by the late Jeremy Beadle (pictured). I have always been concerned when children and often animals are subjected to dangerous stunts for the sake of a £250 prize, and yes I do believe many are staged and not just caught on camera in the course of events and wonder why parents would consider doing this.I was particularly dismayed at the last episode when it appeared a small child in a high chair was being forced to eat chili beans just to raise a laugh at his reaction by the parents…WHAT?
Can’t be right, what do you think?

LBC :1 BBC :0

I regret missing James O’Brien’s LBC Radio show on Thursday 18th March as for once the subject of Family Law had been raised so will forward copies of my work on the subject should this be returned to in the future.
This is a subject that needs to be brought higher up the media and political agenda so where better then LBC in London (the BBC won’t touch it) also SKY News and even Gaunty over at Sun-Talk though beware his show coincides with Mr. O’Brien’s, and along with Nick Ferrari and James Whale they all have some apathy with this emotive issue as does Ann Widdecombe MP who often stands in for James O’Brien. As for Vanessa Feltz or even Woman’s Hour on at the same time too, still a bit of a taboo at the BBC!

Ann Widdecombe also recognises the failure at CAFCASS, wonder if she would sign my petition? http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/close-CAFCASS/

Davey fights back!

I dislike the Pheonix figure as it conjours up memories of a business I had 20 years ago and the number of customers that went out of business and reemerged as a new company no longer owing me many thousends of pounds and at a time when interest rates were at 15%! Call this a recession bah humbug!

It is however appropriate here as in spite of undue physical emotional, tangable, financial and legal restrictions put on Davey, warrior like I am back and as you get hardened to the retrictions placed on you in family courts so back in the real world you are able to battle through most things, although my terminally ill sister in law is facing some dark moments right now and I have to ask why do they tell you it is terminal if hope is all you have left, why is not more research going into other forms of Cancer now they have success with Breast, but above all why are GP's not trained to diagnose sooner or at least refer to someone if in doubt, I am sure many lives could be saved by earlier diagnosis!

Since writing this blog my courgous sisiter in law lost her battle with Cancer 19th May 2010, God bless you Chris.

The 19th March 2010 represents the 30th month to the day I have not been able to see my kids due to their vengeful mother. I for one and there are others who consider Parental Alienation Syndrome as Child abuse but I am also reminded of what was told to me by Families need fathers spokesman, the late Ian Mackay after he contributed to ‘Geldof on Fathers’ program and that was that judges that do down fathers the most are more likely to be promoted and sure enough as was the case of the then District Judge Pearl in Watford who gleefully unraveled the joint residency order and modest contact agreed over the preceding year though this so called Family Court system and that was with a CAFCASS reporter who’s ex husband was a member of FNF too ! When I suggested Munchausen’s or PAS to this Ann Robinson look alike I just got a cenacle patronizing giggle between here and my ex’s barrister who said “ doesn’t exist!” which is strange as they said if I was to see my children again I was to undergo a psychologal report which I did and the psychiatrist knew of PAS and his report was more damming to the mother then me so the Honorable Judge Pearl declared it inadmissible in court.
At the same time this appalling judge removed the penal notice placed on me by her lackey D.J. Rhodes as apparently I had prevented the children phoning the mother whilst in my care in spite of the fact I had supplied them both with mobiles (I thought they were to young for) and made the landline readily available, yet on this occasion the mother complained I was making them phone too often and to her annoyance and I was to stop! You could not make it up!!

BBC talks to WOMEN and the BNP but never about Family Law, WHY?

The " Impartial BBC" will once again show just how impartial they really are this week in the so called 'Week of women' with the ever impartial Question Time inviting a women only audience , though not a women only panel to discuss presumably their issues of the week!

I think the BBC are unforgivable, especially as they are supposed to represent all licence payers including men, for going over the top on PC after the Ross/Brand saga which would have gone unnoticed at channel 4 if the phone call had been made on Big Brother and as a result BBC presenters have to watch their P' and Q's unlike their commercial rivals and in the same weekend they allowed Lord Justice Woolf free airtime to promote his favorite charity ( his own) http://www.ilex.org.uk/about_ilex/news/ilex_news/psu_radio_appeal.aspx they refused to broadcast an appeal for Food water and medical supplies to the innocent victims caught up in the Gaza conflict so as not to offend Israel (who should be offended by saving kids in this world?) We have long since realised Family Law pays no attention to sex, race, colour, and age discrimination well so it seems neither do the 'impartial BBC!'

Jack Straw spoke for 6 minutes on courts in April 2 2009 on the newly announced 'Open Court' policy and 4 on courts in general (click on the link to hear just how uninterested they really are!)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8020000/8020101.stm

We urgently need reform of Family Law and Child
Welfare in Britain
that has such a devastating effect on
Children, families and society has a whole where in my opinion a bigger threat is posed then that of Terrorism!
Yet the BBC shy’s away from any such debate and I for one would be more then happy to sit in Nick Griffin’s seat on the Question Time panel and talk with Camilla Cavendish, John Hemming MP, Rt. Hon. Jack Straw, Deputy PM Harriet Harman and CSF Minister Ed Balls and bring this emotive subject higher on to the political agenda and remedy the root cause of ‘Broken Britain!’
We are all too familiar with the fabled edition of the 'impartial' Question time programme allowing Harriet Harman to unashamedly (as ever) tell David Dimbleby to shut up Ian Duncan-Smith because he had dared to raise the emotive issue of broken relationships; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtANCL3lAoo

I asked previously are Grandparents the answer?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/womanshour/03/2008_30_tue.shtml
Woman's Hour had an interview with Baroness Scotland and Vera Beard QC when they were appointed top legal advisers to the Government 2 years ago and when asked their view on Camilla Cavendish's campaign (Prompted by an e- mail from Davey) they told Jenni Murray that this was not their department but then spent the remainder of the interview backtracking! Later when Jenni interviewed or Deputy Prime Minister in connection with her plan to give more lenient sentences to woman who murder as a result of domestic violence and there was a discernible gasp from this renown reporter when the Minister was unashamedly pleased with her biased plan. Thankfully the pragmatic founder of the woman's refuge service, Erin Pizzey was heard to say earlier on Today that "Murder is murder!" thank god for reason in the face of biased! I wonder what Gloria Hunniford would make of this?

Lord Tebbit for Justice Minister!

Do you think Lord Tebbit would be a good justice minister ? I have been racking my brain on this who would be the most appropriate successor to Jack 'one trick pony' Straw* and Lord 'No trick' Falconer** I have reached the conclusion that what is needed is Lord Tebbit's forthright approach to the matter of motivating the law Lords from their privileged positions to making the laws work for the benefit of the regular Joe in the street rather then for their own expediencey, so unless you can offer a better suggestion I forward this motion for consideration to the House (and the other place)!

*Jack Straw proposed an open court policy in April 2009 but did not follow it up when the judges said no!**Lord Falconer did nothing to enhance Family Law reform, nil, nada, F*** all zilch, not a thing!

In the year we saw the last of the World War One ‘Tommy’s’ complete his journey on this earth and many World War Two warriors now considering how many more memorials they will attend especially in foreign lands, we appreciate what their lives and those who did not return stand for in giving us freedom of speech and a quality of life many of us take for granted and my thoughts of my late father a peace loving man facing the horror of war from the rear gunning turret of a Lancaster Bomber.
