What would Dad have made of all this?

My late father would have been 90 today! Having sat in the rear gunner turret of the Lancaster 'Just Jane ' in a Lincolnshire farm yard,
looking out onto rainy open fields a few years ago, I wondered just just how he must have felt doing it for real almost 70 years earlier, already 200 miles from home and about to set off into the black skies over Germany and at the age of just 23 how could he contain such fear?

As part of Squadron35 Pathfinder group he would have be among the first crews to leave, later the same squadron was ear marked for the Tiger Force destined for Japan, but the Americans dropping the atom bomb meant he was spared this having survived numerous raids over Nazi Germany, instead the freshly painted white Lancaster's of his Squadron where given the honour of 'Goodwill tour' of the USA in recognition of that countries contribution to the war. I was dismayed when our Lame-Duck prime Minister claimed to an equally Lame - Duck US president that we were junior partners in the second world war. (Click on this blogs title to see the response from the PM to my complaint to this comment). I doubt if my father his Australian pilot Bob Newbiggin, his fellow crews from New Zealand, Canada, Poland and Singapore, as well the gallant day light raider from the USAF would have considered any of them as junior partners. Bomber Command lost 56,000 in night time sorties whilst the USAF lost over 44,000 in their day light raids. All this was done n the name of our freedoms, our right to vote and the democracy we all too often take for granted today!

We were denied the right of a vote on the EU referendum this week yet the majority of UK citizens want it, and whilst the capitalist protesters have closed St. Paul's for the first time since WW2 and before, I would appeal to them that no matter how just they feel their call is please make way this November to allow those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms to be remembered with dignity, it is the authorities who are at fault not the common people!

Blundering Cameron also set out an assault on so called 'absent' fathers' on fathers day in June seeking to align them with drink-drivers! Well as a professional HGV driver of 35 years who has been alienated from his sons ages 15 and 12 for the past 4 years by the very system he and his ministers are content to preside over,in spite of wide ranging corruption at many levels I must object. Once again I have had a 4 page explanation from the Ministry of Justice giving the PM's view and indeed the Governments ethos on Family Justice and I will probably publish this before 5th November 2011.

So on the 5th November 2011 some 67 years after my dad was carrying out exercises over RAF Bottesford, I will be standing at Churchill's feet in Parliament Square, London with my banner saying enough is enough of this and justice must prevail, and unlike the capitalist protesters I know exactly what I am demanding; Justice in the family Court, and its affiliated agencies and equality in parenting so we can at last see JUSTICE4CHILDREN here in the UK and around the world!

Family Justice Review : PROTEST!

I would call upon all like minded folk to follow the many Family Justice, Child Welfare, Social Services, Grandparents and CSA groups and protest at Parliament Square London over the weekend of the 4th to 7th November 2011.

This for me represents our civil rights march of the 21st Century, and unlike our 406 years of celebrating failure (an English thing) lets get it right this time and get our message across to the heart of Government through protest and in the meantime bombard their lackey's, the media and news organisations, with our message loud and clear!


Short of declaring US diplomatic immunity ,I wonder what our war time leader would have made of constraints on entering our capital city when he had fought for freedom of speech!

It may seem a little disingenuous to protest when the Family Justice Review has yet to be published, and may still be by that day, but early revelations show it is likely , as many campaigner have said , to be a fudge or whitewash, just to appease those who want to see something being done.


Those of us who have been oppressed by these draconian laws for too long will want to see a more robust approach and society as a whole will need to see evidence of action being taken at grass roots level to show enforcement of parental responsibilities for the young still at school through to those of an age when they participate in riots. We have been forced to remain silent......till NOW!

When I first saw a superhero firing fireworks off a crane near Tower Bridge in London in 2003 I wondered what motivated a man to do this and was he showing the world he was being a responsable parent? Having gone through the Family Courts in 2004 I found I had more sympathy for this guy, as the injustice I discovered would not be accepted in normal society as it breaches all the norms we have come to expect in Human rights, racial equality and respect and most especially sexual equality!

The system is rotton to the core from ineffectual judges who use 'Baby Peter' style social workers as scapegoats and rely too heavily on their spurious statements to make final and irreversable judgements. Lawyers see it as a golden oppertunity to make fast money with out any accountability and then the hangers on including CAFCASS, CSA, CPS and CYFS all fail our kids whilst pretending to do what is in the child's best interest. Well your honour you have failed and continue to fail day after day and so many children grow up with a life of missed oppertunities and regret because of all these so called legal professionals and associated agencies hide behind the secret and close unaccounable Family Law system!

Traffic chaos as Sydney Harbour Bridge reopens after protest

A man describing himself as ex-military has been arrested following a daring protest this morning which closed the Sydney Harbour Bridge in both directions.


The northbound and southbound lanes were reopened about 7.30am, a Transport Management Centre spokesman said.

Just before 7am, the 38-year-old protester, who unveiled two banners "Kids Only" and "Plz Help My Kids" at the top of the bridge, abseiled down to the road below, where he was met by police officers.


Commuters have been warned to expect major delays following the protest, which started just after 5am.


The Western and Northern train lines were back to their normal timetable but flow-on delays in both directions were expected, City Rail said.


A Fairfax journalist said there were rows of up to six people deep at Town Hall train station.

"Most people seem understandably frustrated," he said.


There were also minor delays on the North Shore Line, CityRail said.


'Extremely heavy' traffic


But a Transport Management Centre spokesman said traffic was "extremely heavy on all approaches to the harbour bridge".


As of 8.30am, the spokesman said the main concerns were the southbound traffic from the northern beaches.


He said the traffic on Military Road was still fairly heavy and there were queues back to Mosman.


The southbound traffic on the Warringah and Gore Hill freeways were jammed back to the Lane Cove Tunnel.


Traffic going across the Anzac Bridge was flowing but there were further delays on citybound lanes on Victoria Road in Rozelle, he said.


Traffic on the Harbour Bridge itself was flowing at a similar volume to what was usually expected for this time of the morning, although there were queues to get onto the bridge, he added.


There were no concerns about traffic on the Eastern Distributor.


'Get my kids and other kids help'


The man, who said his name was "Mick", spoke to a number of media outlets and identified himself as "ex-military", AAP reported.


He reportedly said that he had equipment that could cause danger to commuters and so had left a note with his truck to close the bridge, the ABC reported.


He told the Nine Network: "If I have to stuff four million people around for one morning and that gets my kids and other kids help one day sooner [then] I have achieved my goal.


"If that draws attention to the fact DOCS is a failed department that's letting our children down than I have achieved my goal.


"This is a peaceful protest. It's to give a voice to little people. Most fathers or mothers that are victims of this sort of stuff have not got anyone to turn to. At the end of the day I have got the ability to stage a peaceful demonstration and make people stand up and pay attention."


He also spoke to 2GB radio host Alan Jones this morning by mobile phone about 6.40am.


Jones said the man's problems would be raised with DoCS or the minister in charge of children's services if he came down from the bridge.


The man replied that he would come down.


The man also told Triple M radio: "There are systematic fails in both federal and state governments ... the police and also the school systems that are letting our children down. And the children don't have a voice.


"There is a major failure in the fact that there's no one looking after our kids when parents separate and divorce.


"I've been pushed and pushed and pushed. I'm not just doing this for me, I'm doing this for my kids."


He also spoke about "parental alienation syndrome", which he described as a situation where a child insults one parent without justification, often due to indoctrination by the other parent.

The man has been taken by police to North Sydney Police Station and "charges were likely", police said in a statement.

In March, a truck driver was arrested after a pile of dirt was dumped on the Harbour Bridge, closing two lanes, in an apparent protest.

Public reaction


Aaron Fuller, a commuter stuck in the traffic, said he hoped the man could help "a community break out of our apathetic ways".

"Today, this man ... has risked everything to bring to light his concerns. Sure, there are other ways, but apart from painting No War on the opera house, how else to get 4+million Sydney siders to pay attention.

"Let us not be concerned about how long it took us to get to work, but instead, let us support this guy, or at least, be curious enough to dig more into his claims, and demand as a collective, something is done.

"We can live with a traffic jam, not another horror story around a child being abused or neglected."

Full inquiry: NSW Roads Minister

The NSW Roads Minister Duncan Gay told the ABC: "The man was driving a vehicle, pulled up beside the pylon, got out of his vehicle, took a ladder and put the ladder over the high fences that had been erected.

"Now we need to do a full inquiry of the effectiveness of the security, both of the patrol people and the rather ugly fences that are now on our beautiful bridge."

Royal Wedding, or great lobby opportunity?

Whilst we all congratulate the happy couple on their special day, it occurs to me that we could be missing a trick when it comes to our own campaigns. We want recognition and public awareness of the injustices we have all faced in the family courts or through social services so who better to help us raise awareness then the specialists in publicity the royal Family.
As I have often stressed I am a royalist but more for Her majesties immediate family rather then the hangers on so to this end what better chance then to write to Buckingham Palace with our concerns in mass in advance to the Obama's visit to London around the 25th May 2011, simultaneously write to the Whitehouse especially to the First Lady and although the United States are not part of the Commonwealth, as is the case with Singapore and Greece our constitutional monarch does seem to hold some sway and certainly respect from most world leaders.


Whilst the USA leadership will be touring England, the Royal newly weds will be returning from honeymoon in Jordan to embark on a tour of Canada and again I suggest St. James's Palaces and Stephen Harper are brought into the same loop as I have suggested above something that could extend to our own UK premier David Cameron, Julia Gillard and John Key as all Governments Commonwealth or otherwise should at the very least be reviewing their Family Law system as is currently happening throughout 2011 at the Ministry of Justice here in London! Who knows maybe even Rupert Murdoch will help us?

The Princess Royal has been patron of Save the children for many years and HRH Prince Andrew is a great world ambassador so why not get in touch ( They always reply!) ?

So what's up in Canada?

All I suggested was; CPS must reform in 2011; Join the debate in your state! .....or they must disband,as with social services and child welfare administrations worldwide they fail to do what is said on the label, resulting in children being more hard done by then if such organisations did not exist! Therefore I call upon them all including the CPS in the United States to reform for the child's good or pack up and allow the 'known' family doctor to take on the role!! Australia:Home at last!

When I first started blogging 16 months ago one of the first stories to draw my attention was the missing reports of young Andrew Thompson from Sidney Australia evidently abducted by his mother and brought to Europe. I immediately included his picture on my original blog and later on my Social-Go and Wordpress efforts too, so when a short while later I met up with Ken care of Facebook and he asked if I would promote his plight I was delighted to tell him "..already on the case Mate!"
Since that time I have followed his story of anguish in the beginning to the determination he showed in flying to London and cycling on throughout Europe (Taking the on your bike phrase to the ultimate extreme) in his desperate search for Andrew.
